Used to determine volatile acids.

It is part of the Apparatus for the identification of volatile acids, which consists of an evaporation conical flask with a capacity of 1000 ml, a 250 ml conical flask receiving receptacle, a 200 mm long four-ball cooler, a connecting pipe and a curved tube inserted into the plug. The parts of the apparatus are connected together by rubber tubes.
