Wile 200 measures the moisture content, hectolitre weight and temperature of grain quickly and accurately. Accurate and reliable measurement result
The W200 moisture meter features a sample size that is clearly larger than on other grain moisture meters. The large sample size provides a more comprehensive overview of the grain being measured, avoiding situations where individual green kernels distort the result. This handy meter with its clear backlit display guides the user and produces reliable measurement results even if applied by less experienced operators.
Applying weight compensation, the meter balances the differences within grain types, as well as structural variations in kernels caused by the change of season.

Excellent ease of use
Using a Wile 200 meter does not require force: just fill the transparent cup attached to the top of the meter, release the grain sample into the measuring chamber, and level the sample with the patented integrated levelling system. Excess grain falls neatly into the trough around the measuring cup.
Measuring with W200 is also fast: the meter does not require cleaning between measurement operations, as opposed to, for instance, crushing meters.

The measurement range varies between 1% and 38%, depending on the grain and the market. The typical range for cereal grains varies from 5% to 30%, and for oil seeds – from 2% to 25%. Repeatability of the measurement results: ±0.3% points in normal moisture range for stored grain.
Important! The scale settings of Wile meters are adjusted to match the common standard grain types as closely as possible. However, properties of grain are likely to vary due to, for instance, varying growing conditions or new species. Therefore, we advise you to always make sure before the harvesting that with the grain type you handle, the readings of your meter match the readings obtained in oven-testing. Always take several samples and use their average as the result.
Tip! You will get the best measurement accuracy for your grain if the temperature of the meter and the grain is within the range of 16-32˚C. The temperature of the meter and grain have to match each other as closely as possible, and it is advisable to store the sample in a container that is as air-tight as possible. In order to obtain a reliable result, the sample has to be representative.
