The hydrometer for urine AU is a glass measuring device with a load in the lower part and a graded scale in the upper. The hydrometer for urine is manufactured according to DSTU GOST 18481: 2009 and is intended for measurement of urine density in medical, biological, bacteriological laboratories.

Indications are deduced from the lower edge of the meniscus.
